CEO/FOUNDER
Brandy Maltbia Woodley has a Bachelor of Science in International Business, with a minor in French, and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management. During her corporate career, working for Fortune 500 companies’ Headquarters Human Resources Departments, she worked closely with executives and counterparts in areas of Employee and Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Benefits, Sales Compensation and more. Her primary responsibilities were in Compensation, which is why she completed the courses to be a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) through WorldatWork.
As a member of National INROADS Alumni Association, she received a variety of training pertaining to business success and development. She held the position of Co-Chairman of the Diversity Committee for the Human Resources Management Association, Kansas City Chapter for two years. Other past memberships include the Kansas City Compensation & Benefits Association (KCCBA), National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) -Kansas City Chapter, Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Delta Mu Delta, and SHRM Global Forum.
After leaving corporate America and becoming a military wife, she took her experience to the education field. She was an instructor at Central Texas College and Upper Iowa University. She taught human resources management, complex organizations, training and development, compensation, and other related business courses. One of the most challenging and rewarding courses was helping graduating seniors with their “Senior Projects,” or thesis papers and presentations.
Being a military spouse, she found her niche in being an entrepreneur. This would allow her execute business across the nation and seas. She has always had a heart to help others and can accomplish this through Soaring Dove Enterprises.
ENTITY
Soaring Dove Enterprises is a sole proprietorship established March 2006 by Brandy Maltbia Woodley (CEO). This business was established in order to provide balance of military life, spirituality, child development, and home life. It will be strongly based on the values of being a true Christian and good business ethics. Professionalism is the underlying tone for all services completed.
LOGO
The dove is recognized as an emblem of peace and is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. In Genesis 8, Noah sent out a dove to see if the waters had receded to uncover land. After he sent the dove out (the second time), it returned with a freshly picked olive leaf. For Soaring Dove Enterprises, the logo represents a growing business into new areas, providing services using God-given talents and abilities and accomplished through faith and knowledge.
